Great design
drives great results.

One part of design is to visually engage. But it’s even more important that design understands the business objectives and then delivers a tangible result – more enquiries, more conversions, more sales.

Beautiful, fully responsive websites built on WordPress.

WordPress

Historically, building a website was a slow, frustrating and expensive process. WordPress has changed the game and gives me the tools to design within the code. Changes can be made in an instant and new functionality added at the flick of a switch.

To put it simply, WordPress allows me to design you a website that is beautiful to use on any screen size and gives you the control to maintain it.

Content is King

Content is king. It always has been and always will be. I will advise and where necessary restructure and rewrite your content so that it delivers what your users demand. Content and design need to work in harmony and it’s even more important in a mobile dominated world where the screen size is small and users are time poor.

Setting you up to sell effortlessly.

An intuitive purchase cycle

The sole purpose of an e-commerce store is to sell product and design is there to aid rather than hinder this process. Every component of a digital store can be tracked, fine-tuned and tweaked to maximise your conversion. Getting the buyer from shopfront to checkout needs to be quick, intuitive and engaging.

Hastle free fulfilment

Selling online is complex. An order needs to come in, payment needs to be taken and then the product(s) picked and shipped to the customer. Along the way, notifications need to be sent and numerous technical integrations need to be executed seamlessly.

Strategy, UX and UI for your SaaS product.

Custom design

Designing a web application is very different to designing a corporate website. It requires strategic thinking, a UX (User Experience) phase, a UI (User Interface) phase and then a technical handover.

Before any code is written, an Invision prototype will enable you to complete initial market testing and get valuable user feedback.

Custom development

Web applications are often complex digital platforms that are written from the ground up. They require a strong design and technical team who enjoy working together, understand the challenges and share the vision of the product.

iOS and Android mobile apps.

Minimal and engaging

Designing the user interface for a mobile app is one of my favourite design briefs. The small screen forces minimalism and simplicity to deliver a user experience that is intuitive (no faqs or help prompts), engaging and enables the user to complete their task quickly and efficiently.

An Invision prototype will allow you to market test your app and get valuable user feedback before any code is written.

Dual platform

Gone are the days where an app could just be released on iOS. The rapid rise of Android to be a dominant player in the market means apps must be dual platform and this presents a number of design challenges.

Logotypes to set you apart.

Brand consistency

Branding plays a vital role in any business. A strong brand can position your product or service to differentiate you from your competitors. Branding is more than just a logotype – it’s about how you portray a consistent visual style and tone of voice across your marketing collateral both online and offline.

Adding value

Branding does not need to be expensive – it’s about focussing on those areas that are going to add value to your business. I like to keep branding simple and painless. Ultimately, it’s your brand and you need to be able to roll it out consistently and effortlessly.

Concept to Launch

Start-ups

I have my own startup so I know how it works. I also get involved with 3rd party startups, either as a paid contractor, an equity shareholder or a consultant. Startups provide some of the most innovative and rewarding design briefs going which is why I enjoy them so much. They vary enormously in terms of complexity, strategy, time to market and funding.

If it’s a good fit, I can help build your vision and where necessary put the required team and expertise in place.

World-Class Talent

Beyond Design

Design is one component but many briefs require additional skillsets. I work with like-minded experts as and when required. I’d like to think you would be hard pressed to find as good a team under one roof.

Development

All digital products require technical development. Some can tap into existing software (WordPress, Shopify etc) while others require a custom build from scratch. It’s vital to choose the right platform for your business.

Trust me, I’ve worked with them all!

WordPress

Wordpress powers 20% of the web and there is little it can’t do. It’s my go to choice for websites (corporate, brochure, sales) and I will take care of the tech.

Shopify

If you are looking to build an e-commerce shop, Shopify is awesome. It makes selling online painless and I will take care of your development.

Custom Build

Some projects require a custom build but they are not for the faint-hearted. I’ll work with your tech team or recommended a developer.

Mobile Apps

iOS and Android use 2 different codebases so there is complexity in building an app. I work with a developer who can build both and that’s rare!
